Functionalities

 

1 It's easy to activate due to its big activation plate, were the exchange and the shape animate the piglets to drink from it intuitively
2 The cup is easily kept clean, as the bottom can be pushed down and thus emptied

4 The water output is regulated with an adjusting screw, depending on the water pressure
5 A mounting kit is available, which makes it easy to mount the water supply without integrating hoses into the pen sides
6 The water is supplied through 8 mm PE hoses, which allows the administration of medicated water and reduces the amount of surplus water in the pipes
7 The design and choice of material makes the cup as well as the water supply easy to clean.

 
 


 
 


Works from day one

 

It has been Egebjerg's objective to develop a water supply for the farrowing unit, which supplies the piglets with plenty of clean water from day one.

At the same time the water supply is designed to ease the cleaning for the staff. Thus it is not the water supply that poses a contamination risk.

 
 


 
 


Piglet drinker

 

An alternative to the VIP-O-MAT® drinking cup is a piglet drinker made of solid plastic with a stainless steel bite nipple:
